Why and how organizations must invest in health & wellness to overcome barriers

Workplace health & wellness has never been more important, yet many organizations still have work to do in developing programs that meet the changing needs of employees. This study takes a closer look at five common barriers faced by those trying to implement a successful program. It uncovers some intriguing insights about the current state of workplace health & wellness programs in Canada, and most importantly - provides actionable best practice from leading brands and organizations on how they have overcome those barriers.

61% of consumers surveyed said they would be more inclined to take part in a health & wellness program if it was tailored to their individual needs, yet 62% of employers said their health & wellness benefits were not tailored.

83% of those responsible for health & wellness benefits at their organization felt the benefits offered to employees were sufficient, yet 62% of those surveyed said they would like to see their employer offer a wider breadth of health & wellness benefits.
